About the role#
As a summer 2027 intern, you will join our team to work on federal infrastructure projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers on facilities including VA hospitals, DoD sites, and data centers. This role offers hands-on experience in mechanical system design for government buildings.
What you'll do#
- Assist with mechanical system designs, including HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems.
- Prepare calculations for high-impact federal infrastructure projects.
- Write technical reports to support project documentation.
- Produce construction documents using Revit.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program for mechanical engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical emphasis.
- An expected graduation date of May 2028.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Revit is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
