About the role#
As a mechanical engineering intern, you will perform hands-on work that connects your classroom learning to real-world projects. You will work directly with experienced staff and engineers on mechanical design services for facilities like hospitals, laboratories, and schools. This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Create construction documents and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Assist with mechanical design services, including HVAC and plumbing design.
- Perform mechanical modeling tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to contribute to project goals.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor degree in mechanical or architectural engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in either Dallas, Texas, or Fort Worth, Texas.
