About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within our industrial facilities team. You will work alongside experienced engineers to complete real-world projects that support our industrial design services. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Create construction documents and specifications alongside staff engineers.
- Develop 3D models of mechanical systems.
- Perform pipe stress and pressure vessel analysis.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling.
- Design HVAC systems, including load calculations, equipment selection, duct and piping layout, and energy efficiency analysis.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, or other 3D modeling software.
- Relevant coursework or experience in thermodynamics or HVAC design.
- Familiarity with HVAC codes and standards such as ASHRAE or IMC.

- This position is based on-site in Lincoln, Nebraska or Omaha, Nebraska.
- This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
