About the role#
As a summer 2027 engineering intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects. This role focuses on federal infrastructure, including VA hospitals, DoD facilities, and data centers. You will gain hands-on experience in the evaluation, design, and documentation of electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, and grounding.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design and documentation of electrical systems for federal projects.
- Perform electrical work for projects ranging from small to large scale.
- Prepare technical calculations and write reports.
- Produce construction documents using Revit.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor or master degree in electrical or architectural engineering with an electrical emphasis.
- Expected graduation date of May 2028.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Revit is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
