About the role#
As a Roadway intern, you will join our team to work on transportation projects ranging from urban and rural roadways to highways and interchanges. You will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects, gaining experience that connects your classroom studies to professional practice. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project design using CAD drafting.
- Conduct research to support ongoing transportation projects.
- Write technical reports.
- Collaborate with the Roadway team to deliver project results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a civil engineering degree program.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
