About the role#
As a Civil Engineering intern on the Airports team, you will perform hands-on work that connects your classroom studies to real-world engineering. You will support our team on a variety of projects, including paving and grading, while gaining experience in the design process.
What you'll do#
- Perform minor design tasks to support project goals.
- Prepare project design documents using CAD software.
- Assist engineers with day-to-day operations on the Airports team.
- Travel to project sites for field observation work as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Civil Engineering.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
