About the role#
The Success Centre Peer Learning Assistant supports students at Okanagan College during the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Kelowna. You will work under direct supervision to help students achieve their academic goals by following established Success Centre procedures.
What you'll do#
- Help students follow learning plans created by faculty members.
- Provide individual assistance with problem solving and study skills.
- Offer peer feedback on student work.
- Model effective learning strategies for others.
- Maintain accurate records of your interactions and work with students.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program at Okanagan College.
- Proficiency with various computer software applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Prior work experience is considered an asset.

- Location: Kelowna, British Columbia.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 8, 2026, to December 31, 2026).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $18.42 per hour.
