    About the role#

    The Success Centre Peer Learning Assistant supports students at Okanagan College during the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Kelowna. You will work under direct supervision to help students achieve their academic goals by following established Success Centre procedures.

    What you'll do#

    • Help students follow learning plans created by faculty members.
    • Provide individual assistance with problem solving and study skills.
    • Offer peer feedback on student work.
    • Model effective learning strategies for others.
    • Maintain accurate records of your interactions and work with students.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a post-secondary program at Okanagan College.
    • Proficiency with various computer software applications.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Prior work experience is considered an asset.

    • Location: Kelowna, British Columbia.
    • Term: Fall 2026 (September 8, 2026, to December 31, 2026).
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $18.42 per hour.
