About the role#
We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist intern to join our team in Marlette, Michigan. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship with a rolling start date. You will gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while supporting our core HR operations.
What you'll do#
- Support employees with questions about payroll and company benefits.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Handle new hire onboarding and conduct exit interviews.
- Schedule employee training sessions and keep accurate training records.
- Maintain personnel files and our Human Resource Information System.
- Communicate and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare monthly reports on key HR metrics.
- Coordinate company programs and events.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as necessary.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with HR systems like SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, or Novatime is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
