Fall Engineering Intern

About the role#

Odin Dynamics is seeking engineering interns to join the team for the Fall 2026 term. This role involves direct integration into small teams to work on real vehicle systems. You will be matched to a track—Software, Electrical, Mechanical, or Hardware Engineering—based on your skills and interests. You will be expected to contribute across disciplinary boundaries to design, build, and test autonomous underwater vehicle systems.

What you'll do#

• Own a meaningful project with real deliverables that contribute to the vehicle program.
• Work alongside full-time engineers on day-to-day design, build, and test activities.
• Participate in design reviews, team standups, and engineering discussions.
• Engage in hands-on hardware work, including assembling boards, machining parts, running tests, or deploying systems in the water.
• Present your work and results to the engineering team at the end of the internship.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Ocean Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Genuine interest in building physical systems that operate in the real world.
• Foundational skills relevant to your track, such as CAD, circuit design, embedded programming, or full-stack development.
• Comfort working in a small-team environment with real responsibility.
• U.S. Citizenship.
