About the role#
The Global Sourcing Intern will work alongside the Sourcing team at Oatey. You will split your time between Direct and Indirect Sourcing projects. This role provides exposure to various functional departments and offers an overview of the Sourcing function. You will interact with internal stakeholders and suppliers through email, phone, and in-person communication to support negotiations and supplier management.
What you'll do#
- Manage administrative tasks such as new item set-up, quality feedback, and trade agreement updates.
- Assist with purchase requisitions and purchase order creation.
- Collect and analyze spend data to improve reporting.
- Organize data for Direct and Indirect RFQ projects.
- Review existing sourcing processes and suggest improvements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor degree program in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative.

- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
