About the role#
The Mortgage Finance Summer Internship at NVR, Inc. offers hands-on experience in the mortgage process for our homebuilding customers. You will work within our mortgage operations, learning about regulatory requirements and the financial side of the homebuilding industry. This is a paid, full-time summer opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Work with mortgage professionals to pre-qualify home buyers and negotiate financing options.
- Guide customers through the process from their initial application to the settlement date.
- Assist in processing and obtaining mortgage approvals and conducting closings.
- Learn about the homebuilding industry and how NVR Mortgage supports it.
- Spend time with sales and production teams to observe management skills and the delivery of homes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program.
- Strong communication skills.
- A self-motivated approach and leadership experience.
- A current driver's license.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics are relevant.
