About the role#
NVR, Inc. offers a summer internship program for students interested in the mortgage process. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting our mortgage teams as they assist customers purchasing Ryan Homes, NVHomes, or Heartland Homes properties. This is a paid, full-time position based on-site in Voorhees, New Jersey.
What you'll do#
- Work with mortgage professionals to pre-qualify prospective home buyers.
- Negotiate financing options for customers.
- Manage the customer experience from the initial application through the settlement date.
- Process mortgage approvals and conduct closings.
- Learn about the regulatory environment of the mortgage industry.
- Spend time with sales and production teams to observe management skills and the homebuilding process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program. Students in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills.
- A current driver's license.
- A self-motivated and driven approach to your work.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Please note that we do not provide visa sponsorship.

- Compensation: $22.00 per hour.
