About the role#
NVR, Inc. offers a summer internship for students interested in the mortgage side of the homebuilding industry. You will gain hands-on experience by working with mortgage professionals to support customers of Ryan Homes, NVHomes, and Heartland Homes. This is a paid, full-time position based in Franklin, Tennessee.
What you'll do#
- Work with mortgage professionals to pre-qualify prospective home buyers and negotiate financing options.
- Guide customers through the process from their initial application to the settlement date.
- Handle mortgage processing, obtain approvals, and conduct closings.
- Spend time with sales and production teams to learn about homebuilding management and operations.
- Learn about the regulatory requirements that govern the mortgage industry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program. Students in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting are encouraged to apply.
- A high level of motivation and self-drive, along with proven leadership experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- A current driver's license.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Please note that we do not provide visa sponsorship.
