About the role#
NVR, Inc. offers a summer internship for students interested in mortgage finance. You will gain hands-on experience in the mortgage process for our homebuilding customers. This program provides practical exposure to underwriting, processing, and closing, while you learn about the regulatory environment of the mortgage industry. You will work directly with mortgage professionals and spend time with our sales and production teams to see how we deliver homes to our customers.
What you'll do#
- Work with mortgage professionals to pre-qualify home buyers and negotiate financing options.
- Guide customers through the process from their initial application to the settlement date.
- Assist with processing mortgage approvals and conducting closings.
- Spend time with sales and production teams to learn about the management skills required in homebuilding.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, with a preference for students graduating within 12 months.
- Strong communication skills and a self-motivated approach.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- A current driver’s license.
- While we look for students in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting, all majors are welcome to apply.

- This is a full-time, paid position at $22.00 per hour.
- This role is on-site and does not provide visa sponsorship.
