About the role#
This 12-week paid internship provides a foundation in the homebuilding industry. You will gain experience across several business segments, including construction, sales, and land research. NVR promotes most managers from within, and this role is designed to help you build the skills needed for a career in this field.
What you'll do#
You will work on-site to learn the day-to-day operations of homebuilding. Your responsibilities include:
- Shadowing and assisting an experienced Project Manager in the field.
- Working directly with on-site subcontractors.
- Interacting with customers who are building their new homes.
- Partnering with the sales team to understand the home sales life cycle.
- Learning how to forecast and prepare for future homebuilding activity.
- Gaining exposure to manufacturing operations, architectural design, and mortgage banking.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, preferably with a major in Business Administration.
- Strong communication skills to engage with customers and business partners.
- A drive to lead and take initiative.
- A current driver’s license.

- Location: Beltsville, Maryland.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22.00 per hour.
- Status: Full-time.
