About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship focused on the homebuilding industry. You will gain experience across multiple business segments to build a foundation for a career in construction management. The role is based in Frederick, Maryland, and requires on-site work.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and assist an experienced Project Manager in the field.
- Work directly with on-site subcontractors.
- Interact with customers throughout their homebuilding process.
- Participate in sales and marketing activities to learn the sales life cycle.
- Gain exposure to land research, building products, and mortgage banking.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or Operations Management.
- A target graduation date within 12 months of the internship.
- Strong communication skills to engage with customers and business partners.
- Leadership skills and personal drive.
- A current driver’s license.
Location & details#
- Location: Frederick, Maryland.
- Compensation: $22.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Requirements: You must be legally entitled to work in the United States. NVR does not provide visa sponsorship. Drug testing and a credit check are required.
