About the role#
The Mortgage Finance Summer Internship provides hands-on experience in the mortgage process for our homebuilding customers. You will work alongside professionals to learn about processing, underwriting, and the regulatory environment of the mortgage industry. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Work with mortgage professionals to pre-qualify home buyers and negotiate financing options.
- Guide customers through the process from their initial application to the settlement date.
- Process and obtain mortgage approvals and conduct mortgage closings.
- Spend time with sales and production teams to learn about the management skills required to deliver homes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program.
- Strong communication skills.
- A self-motivated approach and leadership experience.
- A current driver's license.
- While we welcome students from all majors, we particularly encourage those studying Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting to apply.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Tampa, Florida.
- This is an on-site role for Summer 2027.
