About the role#
NVR, Inc. offers a summer internship program for students interested in the mortgage side of the homebuilding industry. You will work directly with mortgage professionals to gain experience in the processes supporting our homebuilding brands. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Bear, Delaware.
What you'll do#
- Work with mortgage professionals to pre-qualify prospective home buyers.
- Guide customers through the mortgage process from the initial application to the settlement date.
- Process and obtain mortgage approvals.
- Conduct mortgage closings.
- Spend time with sales and production teams to learn how homebuilding operations function.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program. Students in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills.
- A self-motivated approach and leadership experience.
- A current driver's license.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
