About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience across the mortgage process for our homebuilding customers. You will work within the mortgage operations team, gaining insight into underwriting, regulatory requirements, and customer negotiation. This is a paid, full-time position for the summer of 2026.
What you'll do#
- Work with mortgage professionals to pre-qualify home buyers and negotiate financing options.
- Support customers through the mortgage process, from the initial application through the settlement date.
- Assist in processing mortgage approvals and conducting closings.
- Spend time with sales and production teams to learn about the management and labor involved in homebuilding.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program. Students in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics are encouraged to apply.
- A high level of drive and self-motivation with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- A current driver’s license.

- Location: Columbia, Maryland.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22.00 per hour.
