About the role#
The Ignite Internship is a 12-week summer program for first and second year undergraduate students. It provides hands-on experience working with technical experts on real projects. You will participate in an immersive program that covers the company products, culture, and ecosystem.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with technical experts on active projects.
- Gain exposure to the company ecosystem and internal culture.
- Engage in areas such as AI, machine learning, automotive technology, embedded software, GPU software, and robotics.
What you'll need#
- You must be a first-year or second-year undergraduate student at a four-year university in the United States.
- You are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Your resume must include your anticipated graduation date.
- You have basic knowledge of at least one of these languages: C, C++, Python, Perl, or MATLAB.
- You are currently enrolled in computing and engineering courses focused on software basics.
- You show initiative through clubs, leadership roles, or extracurricular projects.
- You possess a problem-solving mindset and a willingness to learn new tools and skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site role in Santa Clara, California.
- The program runs during the summer of 2027.
- The company provides a housing stipend and covers one-time round-trip travel expenses for students living more than 50 miles away.
- This is a paid internship with an hourly rate between 20 USD and 56 USD.
