About the role#
NVIDIA offers 12-week full-time software engineering internships for students pursuing degrees in computer science, electrical engineering, or computer engineering. You will join our teams to work on projects that have a measurable impact on our business. We review applications on an ongoing basis to match students with various software engineering opportunities across the company.
What you'll do#
- Debug complex system-level issues.
- Support the architecture and design of our cloud storage infrastructure.
- Implement and troubleshoot storage and data platform tools.
- Build workflows and infrastructure to support software development.
- Work with teams on production software development and chip design methodologies.
- Engage with deep learning and GPU computing projects.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- A resume or CV that clearly indicates your anticipated graduation date.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python.
- Knowledge of technologies including Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with areas such as deep learning and GPU computing.

- Location: Santa Clara, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid internship with rates ranging from 20 USD to 71 USD per hour, depending on the position, location, degree, and experience.
- Status: Full-time.
