About the role#
NVIDIA is looking for Ph.D. students to join our Robotics research teams. You will work alongside experts to define and execute research projects that address complex challenges. This position involves moving research into product groups to enable new technologies.
What you'll do#
- Define your own research project in collaboration with robotics experts.
- Design and implement novel robotics methods.
- Work with internal product teams to transfer research findings into new products.
- Produce tangible results such as prototypes, patents, or original research publications.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Ph.D. program for Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A clear indication of your anticipated graduation date on your resume.
- Experience with programming languages and technologies like Python, C++, and CUDA.
- A strong research background, including publications at top conferences.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team.
- Research experience in areas such as robotic manipulation, control, perception, robot learning, or motion planning.

- Location: Santa Clara, California.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time internship.
- Compensation: The hourly rate for this role ranges from 38 USD to 94 USD, depending on experience and degree level.
