About the role#
NVIDIA is looking for Ph.D. students to join our research teams focused on autonomous vehicles. You will work on projects that bridge the gap between academic research and real-world product development. This is an on-site, paid, full-time internship program located in Santa Clara, California.
What you'll do#
- Design and implement techniques for vehicle autonomy.
- Collaborate with internal team members and external researchers.
- Transfer research findings to product groups to enable new capabilities.
- Deliver results through prototypes, patents, products, or published research.
- Gain experience in areas such as next-generation AV architectures, foundation and multimodal models, simulation, perception, and safe autonomous systems.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Ph.D. program for Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong research background with publications at top conferences.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, CUDA, and deep learning frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with large-scale model training is a plus.
