About the role#
This internship supports our MEP engineering team in Andover. You will assist engineers and designers in developing and producing engineering plans for electrical, HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Lay out engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Translate verbal or written instructions into CAD or Revit designs.
- Update and finalize design documents based on engineer mark-ups.
- Perform field surveys to document existing site conditions.
- Assist engineering staff with technical calculations.
- Handle administrative tasks such as plotting, scanning, printing, and mailing project documents.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS program for Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Formal training in AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
