About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with equipment upgrades and process improvements at our Decatur facility. You will work alongside our Quality and Engineering teams to support daily operations and specific projects. You must be willing to work overtime when necessary.
What you'll do#
- Design and install new equipment.
- Conduct troubleshooting variability studies.
- Assist the Quality and Engineering teams with technical tasks.
- Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering program, or an equivalent field.
- A minimum collegiate GPA of 3.0.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
- Experience with 3D design software.
- Previous experience in a Process Engineering role.
- A minor in Metallurgical or Materials Engineering is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
