About the role#
Novacore is seeking a Claims Support Intern for the Summer 2027 program. This paid internship provides hands-on experience in insurance claims. You will work in a hybrid capacity, spending three days per week at our Conshohocken office and two days working from home. The program runs from May 17th through August 5th.
What you'll do#
- Support team members with daily operations.
- Communicate with agents and TPAs via phone and email to provide customer service.
- Check submissions for accuracy and completeness, requesting additional information when needed.
- Help with claim inquiries, policy requests, and endorsement processing.
- Partner with your manager to review claim files for accounts undergoing renewal.
- Track open items and follow up to finalize pending tasks.
- Participate in team meetings and handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, with preference for Sophomores and Juniors in Business Administration or related fields.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple deadlines independently.
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to maintain professional relationships.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to teamwork.
