About the role#
As a College Financial Representative, you will build an integrated financial planning practice from the ground up. You will gain experience in the financial services industry while receiving guidance and support from a Fortune 500 company. This role allows you to develop professional skills, expand your network, and assist people with their financial goals.
What you'll do#
- Prospect and network to grow your client base.
- Develop and execute a business strategy.
- Call potential clients to set meetings and discuss their financial objectives.
- Prepare financial plans and provide recommendations.
- Use proprietary planning software platforms.
- Attend weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
- Obtain Risk Product State Licensing for Life, Accident, and Health.
- Build skills for your future career.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student, preferably a junior or senior.
- You have entrepreneurial ambitions and a curiosity for sales.
- You are highly involved on campus in organizations, athletics, or student government.
- You possess excellent time-management skills.
- You have an interest in financial literacy and planning tools.
- You are business savvy and want to improve your critical thinking.
Location & details#
- The role is located in Atlanta, Georgia.
- This is an on-site, full-time position with a rolling term.
- The internship is paid through performance-based earnings, revenue, and productivity bonuses.
- The company provides support for insurance licensing and exam registrations including SIE, Series 6, and Series 63.
