About the role#
Northrop Grumman is hiring Software Engineering Interns for the Summer 2027 program. You will join the Software Engineering directorate and work with users, customers, and other developers. This role requires full-time availability for at least 10 weeks during the summer.
What you'll do#
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and maintain equipment, components, and systems.
- Work from engineering drawings and follow written or verbal instructions.
- Operate equipment and conduct tests, reporting data in a prescribed format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks.
- Make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
- Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Associates or 4-year degree program with a graduation date after August 2027.
- Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar STEM field.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher is preferred.
- We value previous internship or co-op experience, leadership skills, teamwork, and extracurricular involvement.
