About the role#
Northrop Grumman is looking for an Engineering Intern to support our Space Systems division in Huntsville, Alabama. This summer internship is designed to help you build technical skills while working on real projects. You will be paired with mentors who provide guidance and support throughout your time here.
What you'll do#
- Support Space Systems operations in Huntsville.
- Complete tasks assigned based on your current skill level.
- Work alongside experienced mentors to grow your technical expertise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university.
- Intent to remain enrolled full-time in the Fall 2027 semester.
- A major in a STEM field, specifically Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks during the summer of 2027.
- U.S. citizenship, as this role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.
- Practical experience with creating, loading, or troubleshooting network configurations.
- Possession of an 8570 IAT II compliant certification.
