About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. You will work within our Production department to provide electrical support to the Engineering Department. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site at our facility in Pennsylvania.
What you'll do#
- Support the Engineering Department with various electrical tasks.
- Collect and analyze data to help with continuous improvement efforts.
- Research project concerns and recommend solutions to technical problems.
- Use AutoCAD to create designs and compose engineering documents regarding layouts.
- Take measurements and assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
- Adhere to and enforce safety, food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Report any food safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Seek clarification when necessary to understand department needs.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in an accredited institution pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Practical experience using AutoCAD.
- A solid grasp of Electrical Engineering concepts and principles.
- The ability to think logically to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different solutions.
