About the role#
The Corporate Finance Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship designed to provide hands-on experience within Nomura’s Finance division. You will work as a full member of the team, gaining exposure to accounting, treasury, tax, and regulatory reporting. This is not a rotational program. You will work closely with peers and receive guidance from a senior mentor throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Perform daily and monthly P&L reconciliation, reporting, and analysis.
- Verify the accuracy and integrity of trading book valuations.
- Manage the month-end close process by analyzing and reconciling accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly FOCUS report.
- Manage a portfolio of change initiatives to support strategic finance objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or FinTech.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to understand financial products.
