About the role#
This internship is designed for students who want to pursue the CFP® designation and build a career in wealth management. You will work alongside CFP® professionals, Associate Advisors, and Client Service teams to gain hands-on experience with real client work. The program is part-time, offering 10 to 20 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Rotate across different teams to understand our integrated wealth management model.
- Help create and implement financial plans for real clients.
- Support the Client Service Team to learn about the full client experience.
- Conduct research and assist with casework related to financial planning and operations.
- Shadow Financial Advisors during client meetings to gain firsthand advisory exposure.
- Respond to client questions under the supervision of a CFP® professional.
- Participate in company workshops and learning sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS or BA in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Intent to pursue the CFP® designation.
- Strong communication skills with an interest in teamwork and relationship-building.
- A self-motivated and curious approach to learning.
- Comfort with learning new systems, tools, and financial concepts.
Location & details#
- This is a remote position based in California.
- This is a paid, part-time internship.
- The schedule is flexible between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
