About the role#
The Quantitative Risk Management Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship designed to provide hands-on experience as a full member of the team. You will work alongside professionals in the Risk Management Division, which oversees the financial and non-financial risks of the firm. This program is not rotational and aims to provide exposure similar to that of a first-year analyst. You will be paired with a peer and have regular access to a senior mentor.
What you'll do#
- Perform market risk analysis on traded positions, including cash and derivatives across fixed income and equities.
- Develop or improve risk models used for regulatory and economic capital calculations, limit monitoring, and trade approval.
- Assist in the independent validation and governance of quantitative models.
- Process data and perform statistical analyses, including benchmarking model outputs against alternative approaches.
- Document findings for validation reports to be reviewed by senior team members and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Current enrollment in a post-graduate degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
- A self-starter mindset with a working knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

- This role is based in New York, NY.
- The program takes place in Summer 2027.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid position with an annualized base salary of $95,000.
