About the role#
This position offers an opportunity to work with engineers on the IP Routing product family. You will apply your academic knowledge to solve real-world challenges while gaining insights through mentorship. Your work involves refining requirements and building software that enhances existing products.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with mentors and senior engineers on technical projects.
- Assist in refining customer requirements.
- Design, develop, and deliver C/C++ software to enhance Nokia products.
- Create Python software to support and complement the product family.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree or diploma program related to Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Communications.
- Strong software development potential.
- Proficiency in C/C++ is preferred.
- Familiarity with Python and Linux is an asset.
- Knowledge of networking, communications, embedded systems, or real-time operating systems is helpful.

- Location: Ottawa, Ontario (Hybrid).
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to April).
- Duration: 4 months or longer.
- Status: Paid, full-time position.
