About the role#
As an Autonomous Driving Applications Research Intern, you will work within a team environment to develop software for autonomous driving systems. You will contribute to projects involving machine learning pipelines, radar and vision-based parking, or multi-sensory localization. This role involves working in both simulated and real-world environments to support the development of research applications.
What you'll do#
- Participate in daily team activities, including stand-up calls, backlog reviews, and sprint planning.
- Execute a specific research project, covering technical design, proposal development, and coding.
- Test software in simulated environments and on actual vehicles at the test track.
- Engage in various campus activities and collaborate with team members on software development.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a full-time Master’s or PhD program in Robotics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative engineering discipline.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Familiarity with robotics, controls, perception, and IOT techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C/C++.
- Experience with AI coding tools.
- Ability to work on-site.
