    About the role#

    This is a paid, full-time software development internship for Summer 2027. You will report to a Software Engineering Team Lead and work alongside other developers, support staff, and quality assurance personnel. The role focuses on developing and maintaining software for utility, broadband, financial, and mobile applications.

    What you'll do#

    • Research, design, and develop software systems.
    • Analyze and resolve basic software maintenance tasks.
    • Assist in the enhancement and maintenance of application programs.
    • Perform quality testing for unit and system integration.
    • Review and prioritize assigned change requests.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in a computer science related field.
    • High School diploma or equivalency.
    • Familiarity with Object Oriented concepts and languages, such as Java.
    • Familiarity with Javascript and frameworks like Angular or Typescript.
    • Familiarity with Linux and Microsoft Windows environments.

    Location & details#

    This position is hybrid. You must work from one of our office locations in Cedar Rapids, IA, Lake Saint Louis, MO, or Mandan, ND. The schedule requires you to be in the office at least 3 days per week, with the option to work from the office up to 5 days per week.
