About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship focused on footwear product creation. You will join the team in Beaverton, Oregon, to help develop products that meet the needs of athletes. The role requires working across different functions to solve complex problems and improve performance.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members on various initiatives.
- Research and investigate materials for production, focusing on sustainability and performance.
- Work with Design and Operations to bring new footwear concepts to life.
- Test ideas to ensure products meet performance standards.
- Solve complex challenges and contribute new perspectives to existing processes.
- Find technical ways to make innovative designs functional.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Textiles, or a related field.
- Graduation date between Winter 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Knowledge of materials, formation, construction, and manufacturing.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Ability to maintain integrity and work effectively within a matrixed organization.
- Knowledge of footwear sourcing and global product processes from concept to delivery is preferred.
