About the role#
Nexstar Media Group is looking for a Special Projects Intern to join the team at WEHT/WTVW in Henderson, Kentucky. This role focuses on the production of the station annual Christmas program, which features local bands and choirs. You will gain practical experience in a broadcast environment while working under supervision to complete your projects.
What you'll do#
- Organize, coordinate, produce, and edit the station Christmas show.
- Assist with additional station duties as assigned.
- Participate in a structured learning experience.
- Work a dayside shift during late November and early December.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Eligibility to receive academic credit for this internship.
- Basic knowledge of TV audio and video editing equipment and systems.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.
- Good time management skills to meet project deadlines.
