About the role#
The New York Post is seeking a part-time Commerce Partnerships Intern to support our team in e-commerce and brand strategy. This role offers hands-on experience within a media company, focusing on the intersection of digital content and revenue-generating partnerships. Interns will work 24 hours per week on projects that directly support our commerce initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Research and identify potential brand partners for e-commerce collaborations.
- Assist with sales pitches and the development of long-term brand relationships.
- Ensure billing accuracy for partnerships and e-commerce campaigns.
- Track partnership agreements and project deliverables to maintain smooth operations.
- Analyze paid campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Create performance recap reports and summary insights.
- Coordinate with commerce editorial and social media teams to execute cross-functional campaigns.
- Share partnership updates and brand offers with the editorial team to align content priorities.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a junior or senior, a master's student, or a recent graduate who completed a degree within the past year.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Journalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and comfort using Microsoft Excel.
- A genuine interest in e-commerce, digital sales, and building brand partnerships.
