About the role#
As a Security Engineer Intern, you will join the Technology, Data, AI, and Ventures organization. This role focuses on protecting enterprise systems, applications, and data through hands-on cybersecurity work. You will contribute to our security posture across cloud and on-premises environments while working alongside experienced engineering and infrastructure teams.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain security solutions to protect company assets.
- Monitor security events, analyze alerts, and investigate potential threats.
- Strengthen security controls and improve incident response processes.
- Support secure code changes and configuration improvements.
- Perform security assessments to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance monitoring capabilities and use AI-powered technologies for threat detection.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including network security, endpoint threat detection, and incident response.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Interest in security automation and tool integration.
- Ability to work full-time for the 11-week duration of the internship.

- This is a paid, full-time summer internship.
- The role is based in New York, New York.
- Work modality is hybrid, requiring three days per week on-site.
