About the role#
As a Web Development Intern, you will join the Engineering team to gain hands-on experience in front-end or back-end development. You will work alongside experienced engineers to understand how projects are planned and estimated. This is a paid, full-time opportunity with a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Produce HTML and CSS based on design files.
- Build small features for various CMS-based websites.
- Perform cross-browser compatibility testing.
- Learn project planning and estimation from senior engineers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science or related degree program.
- A desire to learn web technologies like Ruby on Rails, PHP, and JavaScript.
- Experience working with content management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A portfolio that shows your web development work.
- Previous experience with front-end or back-end development.
- Experience with quality assurance testing for web applications.
