About the role#
Nebo Agency is seeking a Social Media Video Editor Intern to collaborate with our Social Media team. This role focuses on creating high-performing video content for real brands and audiences. You will contribute to the entire production process, from concept development to final delivery, with an emphasis on storytelling, pacing, and capturing audience attention.
What you'll do#
- Transform raw footage and scripts into engaging Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts.
- Edit content using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, and Canva.
- Apply platform-specific best practices to ensure content is polished and effective.
- Develop shot lists, scripts, and video concepts while collaborating with the team.
- Iterate on projects based on feedback and performance insights.
- Manage 1 to 3 business-day turnarounds and address feedback within one business day.
What you'll need#
- Strong video editing skills and a demonstrated ability to tell stories through video.
- Understanding of short-form content trends on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to accept and implement feedback.
- A passion for staying current on social media trends and platform updates.
- A portfolio featuring video work edited for organizations or brands.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Media Studies, Marketing, or Computer Science.
Location & details#
- Location: Remote or hybrid in Atlanta, Georgia.
- Hours: 10 to 20 hours per week.
- Schedule: Rolling term with immediate start.
- Compensation: Paid hourly position.
- Flexibility: Editing tasks may be completed outside standard business hours provided deadlines are met.
