Social Media Video Editor Intern

About the role#

Nebo Agency is seeking a Social Media Video Editor Intern to join the team. This internship focuses on creating high-performing, short-form video content for real brands. You will collaborate directly with the social media team to develop concepts, scripts, and polished edits that capture attention in the feed.

What you'll do#

• Transform raw footage and scripts into scroll-stopping Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts.
• Edit content using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, and Canva.
• Apply platform-specific best practices to ensure content is polished and effective.
• Iterate on projects based on feedback and performance insights.
• Develop shot lists, scripts, and video concepts in collaboration with the team.
• Manage 1–3 business-day turnarounds and address feedback within one business day.

What you'll need#

• Strong video editing skills and a clear ability to tell stories through video.
• Understanding of short-form content trends across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and an openness to constructive feedback.
• A passion for staying current on social trends and platform updates.
• A portfolio featuring video content edited for organizations or brands.
• Preferred majors include Communications, Graphic Design, Media Studies, Marketing, or Computer Science.

Location & details#

• Location: Remote or hybrid in Atlanta, Georgia.
• Hours: 10–20 hours per week.
• Compensation: Paid (hourly).
• Term: Rolling.
