About the role#
Nebo Agency is looking for a Back-End Engineering Intern to join our team in Atlanta. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience with real projects. This is a paid, hybrid role that supports both full-time and part-time schedules.
What you'll do#
- Build small features for various CMS-based websites.
- Produce data models and migrations for new and existing features.
- Document and present potential solutions for project features.
- Learn project planning and estimation by working with senior engineering staff.
- Use git for version control and manage pull requests.
- Gain experience with server deployment and dependency management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a computer science or related degree program.
- Experience working with content management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A desire to learn web technologies such as Ruby on Rails, headless stacks, JavaScript, React, and React Native.
- Previous experience with back-end web development, documenting solutions, or QAing web applications is a plus.
- A portfolio that shows your ability to develop websites or web applications.
