About the role#
The Underwriting Intern position offers a hands-on opportunity to work within our insurance operations during the summer of 2027. You will gain exposure to the industry by shadowing different departments, participating in professional development training, and building relationships through company social activities.
What you'll do#
- Assist with updates to pricing models.
- Provide support for captive program renewals.
- Enter data to support underwriting submissions.
- Read and interpret professional documents.
- Write reports and defend your conclusions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program at a four-year college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance, Risk Management, Business, or Economics.
- An anticipated graduation date between Fall/Winter 2027 and May 2028.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
