About the role#
MW Components is hiring an Intern to join our manufacturing team in Columbus, Ohio. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship focused on gaining hands-on experience in industrial production. You will work directly with our machinery and team to learn our processes from the ground up.
What you'll do#
- Operate and tend to various production machines.
- Handle products, perform visual sorting, and conduct quality inspections.
- Check parts regularly to ensure they meet specific requirements.
- Follow written instructions and read print specifications.
- Maintain punctual attendance and follow all company policies.
- Promote and adhere to safety standards and quality procedures.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or GED, or be in the process of earning one.
- The ability to run multiple machines effectively.
- A strong focus on following written directions and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and move heavier items as needed.
- Experience or interest in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Business Administration is preferred.

- Location: Columbus, Ohio.
- This is an on-site role within a manufacturing plant.
- You will work in an environment with machinery, noise, and vibration.
- Schedule may include weekends, holidays, or overtime as required.
