About the role#
The Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto is hiring an Exhibition Intern to join the programming department. You will work directly with the Exhibition Manager, Production Lead, and Exhibition Designer to support the museum's exhibition and special projects initiatives. This is a paid, full-time internship offering hands-on experience in museum operations, production, and archival work.
What you'll do#
- Assist with all facets of museum exhibition and special projects.
- Support the development and implementation of current exhibitions.
- Conduct research and planning for 2027 projects.
- Support archival activities.
- Assist in the production and care practices of exhibitions.
What you'll need#
- An interest in supporting the development and implementation of exhibitions.
- Ability to collaborate with the Exhibition Manager, Production Lead, and Exhibition Designer.
- Academic background in Art, History, or Media Studies.
- Availability to work from October 5, 2026, to March 26, 2027.
