About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to join the Modeling & Informatics division for a 10-12 week program during the summer of 2027. You will work on independent projects or contribute to a drug discovery team. This position provides exposure to the drug discovery and development process, with the potential for involvement in scientific publications.
What you'll do#
- Participate in molecular modeling or cheminformatics research.
- Use data, models, and methods to drive hypothesis-driven drug discovery.
- Gain experience in research areas relevant to drug development.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a BS, BA, Master’s, or Ph.D. program in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, informatics, computer science, or applied mathematics.
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies or one year of graduate studies by the start date.
- Plans to continue your education for at least one semester after the internship ends.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Programming skills and a strong interest in applying modeling or informatics to drug discovery.
- Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment with strong communication skills.
- Availability for full-time work from June through August 2027.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
