About the role#
This internship is part of the Future Talent Program and lasts up to 12 weeks. You will work within the Global Support Division on specific projects to gain hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance. This role is designed for students who have already earned their FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
What you'll do#
- Perform aircraft hourly and calendar inspections.
- Manage ramp safety, aircraft movements, and passenger transfers.
- Operate the aircraft fuel farm, including receiving and testing fuel to meet quality standards and refueling aircraft.
- Conduct preflight and postflight inspections.
- Handle part transactions using electronic logbooks and digital signatures.
- Use maintenance information systems and electronic maintenance manuals.
- Load navigational databases and download aircraft fault history.
- Interpret fault isolation manuals, wiring diagram manuals, and maintenance protocol.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time Bachelor of Science degree program in Aviation Maintenance Technology or a related field.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- An FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
- Proven mechanical ability and knowledge of aircraft systems.

- This is a full-time, on-site internship.
