About the role#
The Finance Co-op supports our Finance and Accounts Receivable teams during the implementation of a new cash application software. You will gain hands-on experience in accounting operations, system deployment, data validation, and process improvement. You will work alongside Accounting, Collections, IT, and external vendors to ensure the platform launches successfully.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily cash application tasks, such as payment postings and account reconciliations.
- Help implement, configure, and deploy the new cash application software.
- Perform user acceptance testing and document the results.
- Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, and documentation on cash application performance.
- Support data gathering, validation, and migration to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with system troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

- This is an on-site role based in San Antonio, Texas.
- This position is paid and full-time.
