About the role#
As a Student Storeroom Worker, you will report to the Food Service Purchaser. You will handle the receipt, care, and delivery of supplies throughout the facility. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Receive deliveries and check in orders.
- Put stock away using the first in, first out principle.
- Date all stock items.
- Keep storerooms, coolers, and freezers clean, sanitary, and organized.
- Arrange stock in storage areas daily.
- Fulfill authorized requisitions and deliver supplies to specified areas.
- Handle special duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Prior food service experience is preferred.

- Work environment: Back of house kitchen and storeroom.
- Equipment used: Carts, pallet jacks, and computers.
